2025 GCSE Results

St. Richard’s Catholic College is pleased to share the success of Year 11
pupils who have achieved incredibly well in this year’s GCSE examinations.

Headline figures for the BASICs measure (English and Maths combined) were an excellent 86% at 4-9 grades and 68% at 5-9 grades. 41% of all grades achieved by our children were the highest 7-9 grades with a third of all students achieved at least one grade 9. There were many outstanding performances with a significant number of pupils achieving grades 7-9 in all of their subjects. The Attainment 8 score this year was 58.4, an increase on the previous year. An impressive 65% of students took the full suite of EBACC subjects with 61% achieving a grade 4 in all pillars.

We are incredibly proud of our students, whose hard work and commitment have paid off. These results are a fantastic launchpad for their futures, whether they are joining a sixth form college or starting an apprenticeship. We are confident they are well on their way to even greater success.
