Parents Introduction
At St Richard’s we fully appreciate and understand that when you send your son or daughter to us you are entrusting us with what you hold most dear. St Richard’s believes in providing exceptional pastoral care to every child. Our primary aim is to ensure your child is happy and able to flourish throughout their time with us. We seek to work in partnership with you to foster good manners, kindness and a desire and willingness to go out and make the world a better place.
We are interested in your child and in helping them to develop into young people ready and prepared to take on whatever they will be met with in their future lives. We place a strong emphasis on developing character across the curriculum and in providing opportunities for pupils to be involved in leadership opportunities, charity work, learning about the world we live in and campaigning for social justice.
We firmly believe that school days really are the best days of your life and provide what we hope are lasting memories of friendship, fun and learning. We are very proud of our pupils not only for all they achieve but for all that they give back to the community. We know we do not do this in isolation and that working with parents and carers is key to ensuring happy, successful children who are proud to call themselves pupils of St Richard’s Catholic College.

Our school encourages the wonder and joy of learning in order to ensure that every pupil reaches their full potential. We enable all to flourish and grow together in friendship and in faith.
We aspire to be courageous, having the integrity and the spiritual strength to make a positive difference in the world, both now and in the future. We endeavour to cherish our school motto of Community, Knowledge and Charity.
